Dog Anxiety - What to Do When Man�s Best Friend Freaks Out
He was gentle with children, loved to play fetch and delighted in going on �road trips� in the car with Tim, his owner. He was a delightful dog UNTIL he was left alone. Separation anxiety and fear of abandonment changed Max from man�s best friend to a very destructive canine.
Tim often returned home to find that Max had clawed the furniture, chewed up shoes, overturned plants and destroyed books and magazines. "Finally I took Max to the vet for advice," said Tim. "I love Max very much but I can�t tolerate his destructive behavior."
Tim�s vet explained that Max was suffering from canine separation anxiety. As social animals, it is normal for puppies to form attachments to their mother and littermates. Once the puppy is separated from its family group, it becomes attached to its owner.

Separation Anxiety - Normal for Two-Year-Old?
My husband and I both work. I went back to work when my daughter was four months old, so she's used to us both leaving in the morning and staying with the nanny.
We changed nannies about two months ago, and right about that time her reaction when we would leave in the morning became very severe - crying so hard, screaming, clinging to me as if for dear life.
One might think that the new nanny is being abusive, but it's not the case. When we come home, she's very happy, she hugs the nanny, she's had a good day and her appetite and sleeping patterns are normal.

Symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Has anyone had burning chest pain, aching pain, teeth pain, chin pain, jaw falling asleep, sharp arm pains off and on, a lot of gas moving in chest, burning stomach in association with anxiety or is it heart related? Also some pains in leg, back of head and dizziness and headaches? And comes and goes worse during anxiety. It usually starts about a week before a weird sensation in my throat.
Sounds like you have GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder).
The teeth and jaw pain is probably caused by you grinding your teeth while you sleep.

Separation Anxiety Causing Loss of Fur
My cat is 2 1/2 years old. We did have another cat that he grew up with but then she passed away about a year ago. Since then he has been loosing his fur and has scabs all over him.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do for him? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Could this be separation anxiety? When my husband or I come home he's all over us and won't leave us alone.
I do believe cats grieve, and that separation anxiety can aggravate a lot of physical problems, but it sounds like this is a physical problem that hasn't been properly diagnosed and treated accordingly.

Anxiety & Depression from Using a PC
After using my desktop PC, I seem to have feelings of anxiety and depression. I might add this is not through fear of technology or being unable to operate a computer.
Does anyone else suffer this condition and if so how did they overcome it?
Having been an IT trainer and now retrained in holistic therapy, what you are describing is a reaction to the 'vibes' of the computer (without getting too technical!).
