How to Combat Anxiety Attacks?
I have anxiety attacks when I'm in a situation that makes me nervous. My track meets, for example. Track meets make everyone nervous, but mine are actual anxiety attacks; I shake, cry, worry constantly, it's crazy.
I also have an anxiety disorder so I know how you feel.

I was told I have anxiety disorder after two years of been treated for depression.
My heart gets fast, I get all aggressive, I feel like I want to hit something or someone and sometimes do, I cry and then I give out and it takes about an hour to calm down.

Anti-depressants make me gain weight but my doctor keeps prescribing them for my anxiety disorder.
Lexapro does work almost immediately on my anxiety and sometimes I take it for a few days and I feel better and then I stop and I'm OK for a few weeks.
Has anyone else tried using Lexapro in this way by the advice of their doctor?
