When the physical anxiety symptoms worsened I was afraid I might have some horrible disease. I was tired all the time, I had horrible headaches, my stomach was always upset and I had a constant nagging pain in my upper back. At night I would fall asleep right away but then I would wake up two hours later and lie awake all night."

Richard was surprised to learn that he was suffering from physical anxiety symptoms and that stress was at the root of his problems. His doctor explained to him that his physical anxiety symptoms could be managed with medication and therapy.

Many have suffered from excessive worry for so long that think it is a normal state of mind for them. Imagine their relief when they realize that their physical anxiety symptoms are treatable and they can live happy, meaningful lives.

Click here for more information about physical anxiety symptoms

Anxiety Help - How to Deal with Anxiety Attacks? ...

Anxiety Help - How to Deal with Anxiety Attacks?

How to Deal with Anxiety Attacks?

Ive had anxiety and panic attacks for the pass five years.

But since then Ive had my attacks under control, except for during car rides, mostly on the freeway.

I just want to know if anyone else has this problem and if so how to deal with it?

Click here for more information about how to deal with anxiety attacks

Seasonal hangovers: Tricks to help you power throu...

Seasonal hangovers: Tricks to help you power through

CNN - Otherwise known as veisalgia, these symptoms are the result of dehydration (because alcohol impairs the kidneys' ability Caffeine in high doses can feel like a panic or anxiety attack," says Jim Lane, Ph.D., a professor of medical psychology at Duke
Source: www.cnn.com

February 2007
Belief.Net - Not a sobbing mess of a mom always worried about her next anxiety attack. I really focus in on my breathing because sometimes I can stop an oncoming anxiety attack if I take deeper, longer breaths and shut my eyes.

Sometimes, if I can, I go for a walk or even open a window and pace for a bit to try to get out some of the anxiety and nervous energy I feel. If I'm in a crowded place during an anxiety attack, I usually go into the bathroom to just try to calm myself.

Click here for more information about overcoming anxiety attacks

February 2007Belief.Net - Not a sobbing mess of a ...

February 2007

Belief.Net - Not a sobbing mess of a mom always worried about her next anxiety attack. I go to college about two hours from home and it's hard for me to make friends since I'm so shy and my new school doesn't have a student center. I cry when I visit my family and I cry when I leave my family. Yesterday I found myself crying all day after my mom dropped me back off at school.

What you're feeling is normal and it will get better. My daughter experienced separation anxiety. She chose a college that was four hours away. I took her on a Sunday. By Thursday she was calling me to ask me to come pick her up, in full panic attack mode, sobbing and crying and begging me that she would do anything if I would just come get her. She hadn't been able to keep anything down but fruit punch since I'd dropped her off on Sunday. All she did was sleep and vomit, sleep and vomit. On the phone with me, she was crying and hysterical in a way I'd never heard before.

I think what you're experiencing is a bit more normal and it should get better with time. Try to locate guidance or the health center at your school; or speak to your RA about what services might be available or any suggestions they might have.

Click here for more information about separation anxiety teens

Seasonal hangovers: Tricks to help you power throu...

Seasonal hangovers: Tricks to help you power through

CNN - Otherwise known as veisalgia, these symptoms are the result of dehydration (because alcohol impairs the kidneys' ability Caffeine in high doses can feel like a panic or anxiety attack," says Jim Lane, Ph.D., a professor of medical psychology at Duke
Source: www.cnn.com

Sneak attack apt to fool many women
Columbus Dispatch - Besides, I figured, I was probably suffering nothing more than an anxiety attack — something likely to lead to a little As it was, I’d managed to dismiss my "hysterical" symptoms for nearly six hours.
