I've had horrible anxiety disorder and given birth. I'd rather give birth. At least you know there's an end to it, and it's for something positive. You're bringing life into the world.
However, nobody can discount another person's suffering. To that person, it's their entire world.

General Anxiety Disorder - Is it Normal to Fear?
I was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder last year; it was really bad, I was worrying about everything and afraid of everything.
Now we are in the middle of trying to sell our house, adopting a new baby (first time parents and we get the baby in two weeks), and buying a new house. I can feel the anxiety coming on and I get scared because I really don't want to feel the way I did before.

Anxiety Symptoms or Heart Attack?
I had what I think was an anxiety attack; I've had mild ones before. However, I had shooting pains down my arm every time I'd try to breathe. And the pain was 10 times worse, I couldn't even move.
I'm going in to see my doctor today but I thought I'd check if anyone knows if that is a heart attack symptom or an anxiety symptom.
Not everyone experiences the same symptoms when they have a heart attack, especially women.
